Terms and conditions

These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity) and Geeda regarding your access to and use of our website builder, hosting services, and related tools. If you do not agree with all of these terms, you are expressly prohibited from using the platform and must discontinue use immediately.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access our platform to design, publish, and manage digital storefronts and company websites. We continuously improve our features, which may include periodic interface updates, new template releases, and infrastructure optimizations without prior notice.
To access our site builder, you must create an account with a valid email address and verified phone number. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify our support team immediately of any unauthorized access or breach of security.
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly or yearly cycle. All charges are made in Nigerian Naira (NGN) via secure, CBN-licensed payment processors. You may cancel your subscription at any point from your billing dashboard; your website will remain published until the end of your active billing period.

Intellectual property rights
You retain ownership of your content, while we protect our platform technology.
All templates, software, code, designs, and platform assets provided by Geeda remain the exclusive intellectual property of Geeda and its licensors. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use these assets exclusively to publish your website.
Any text, images, logos, and custom media you upload to create your website remain your property. By uploading your content, you grant Geeda a worldwide, royalty-free license solely to host, display, and distribute it for the operation of your website.
Prohibited activities
We maintain a safe, reliable ecosystem for genuine Nigerian enterprises.
You agree not to use Geeda for any unlawful scheme, fraud, impersonation, unsolicited mass messaging, copyright infringement, or hosting malicious code. Sites promoting unauthorized financial services or deceptive business practices are strictly forbidden.
Attempting to reverse engineer the builder engine, overload our infrastructure, circumvent paywalls, or scrape data without written permission will result in immediate service suspension and potential legal escalation.
Termination of service
You may close your account whenever you wish, subject to active billing terms.
You can stop using your subscription at any time through your dashboard. Upon cancellation, your site remains active until the end of your current paid billing period, after which it is archived.
Geeda reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, generate excessive security risks, or fail to complete recurring renewal payments after multiple notification attempts.
Limitation of liability
We provide our services on an as-available basis with standard commercial limits.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Geeda is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from downtime, lost profits, data disruption, or third-party payment gateway delays.
Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of your use of our platform is strictly limited to the amount you paid to Geeda in the three months preceding the event.
Governing law and dispute resolution
All agreements are governed under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
These terms and any disputes arising from your use of the service are interpreted under Nigerian law. Parties agree to attempt amicable resolution through direct consultation in good faith before seeking formal legal remedies.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be referred to arbitration in Lagos, Nigeria, in accordance with the Arbitration and Mediation Act.
